Foreclosure Prevention

Facing a foreclosure can be one of the most stressful, overwhelming and frightening events of your life. If you are like most people in this situation, you are being bombarded by creditors, your mortgagor, confusing threats and jargon, false promises and outright scams.

While it may not be helpful, you should realize that you are not alone and that foreclosure has become a national crisis. If you are like most of the hundreds of thousands of other Americans that have had to deal with a foreclosure these past couple of years, odds are that you have worked hard your whole adult life and due to a layoff, medical problem, family tragedy, or sudden divorce, you are at risk of losing your home. Or perhaps you are on a fixed income and your Adjustable Rate Mortgage has come due, sending your monthly payments beyond what you can afford to pay. Add to that all of the deceptive “solutions” you are getting bombarded with and the legal implications of these, it is almost impossible to know what the right decision is for you and your family.

The HomeOwnership Center staff will help you to evaluate the options based on your circumstances at NO COST TO YOU. Your options may include:

  • Refinancing your mortgage
  • Modification of your existing mortgage
  • A repayment plan
  • Short Sale
  • Deed-in-Lieu

To speak to one of our HUD-certified counselors today, please email at info@homesncm.org or call the HomeOwnership Center at 888-978-6261.
